Mike Marty, CEO

Mike is a decorated United States Marine Corps Officer (prior Enlisted) who left active-duty service due to an injury just after 9/11.  Following his Marine Corps service, Mike began a career in law enforcement that started with an assignment through the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office to the Northern California High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area office in San Francisco where his innovative investigative techniques and skills with emerging technologies enabled him to solve a cold case homicide out of Marin County that led to the arrest and extradition of the suspect from Germany back to the United States.

Returning to the Sheriff’s Office, Mike worked in numerous assignments within the office before leaving California in 2013 to work for the Nevada Division of Investigation, where he became the lead homicide detective for the State of Nevada.  He was subsequently appointed as the Chief Investigator for the Douglas County (NV) District Attorney’s Office.

In 2018, Mike was recruited by Tesla to lead a global investigations team for the business. His performance in that role led to numerous promotions and became a senior leader for global security within the company.  Most recently, Mike was recruited to serve as Director of Global Security for an international corporation.

Mike is a recognized expert in the fields of technology and homicide, major crime and cold case investigations.  He has been a featured speaker on these topics at INTERPOL and at numerous law enforcement conferences.  His work has been featured in national media.
