Roberson says, “Not all cold cases have bad endings.” He describes an 18 year-old missing person’s case, resulting in the missing victim being found alive. Only 1% of Human trafficking victims are ever recovered. Two organizations dedicated to fighting the scourge of Human trafficking have just joined forces to fight this crime against humanity. 10/18/2023 - The Retired Investigators Guild (the RIG) and the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) jointly presented a posthumous Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in Markisha Hibbler’s name to her mother, Tinker Davis, at a dinner hosted on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, in Reno, Nevada. 10/03/2023 - The Retired Investigators Guild (the RIG) and the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), today jointly announced the establishment of a perpetual scholarship, sponsored by the RIG, in the name of Markisha Hibbler, who was the victim of a brutal homicide in 2015. The RIG leadership team and its partners will be hosting a special dinner in honor of Markisha and the scholarship on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, in Reno, Nevada.
